As part of the application process, we use Verifast, a third-party verification service, to verify identity, employment, and financial information. Applicant screening is completed separately through our screening provider. Please note that we do not accept reusable tenant screening reports.

Applicants must have a combined gross monthly income of at least 2.5 times the monthly rent of the apartment.

Yes. The application fee is $85 and the administrative fee is $250. 

The security deposit is $750 or up to one month’s rent, depending on the results of the credit screening. 

There is also a $40 access card fee per leaseholder.

We are a pet-friendly community. Cats and dogs up to 100 lbs are permitted, with a limit of 2 indoor pets per apartment. No exotic animals. The community has a bark park.

Yes. Excluded dog breeds include Akita, Alaskan Malamute, American Bulldog, American Pit Bull Terrier, American or Bull Staffordshire Terrier, Bullmastiff, Bull Terrier, Chinese Shar-Pei, Dalmatian, Doberman Pinscher, Presa Canario, Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Siberian Husky, Stafford Terrier, Chow, German Shepherd, and any mix thereof. A letter from a certified veterinarian is required as proof of breed, weight, and required vaccinations.

There is a non-refundable pet fee of $325 per pet and monthly pet rent of $35 per pet.

Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with plenty of parking spaces available throughout the community for our residents.

Yes! Guests are welcome to park in our community. Designated guest parking spaces are clearly marked “Visitor” on the ground. Residents are responsible for informing their guests where to park to ensure they are parked in the appropriate designated areas. 

We do not offer reserved parking at this time. Resident parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with plenty of parking spaces available throughout the community.

We have lease terms from 7 months to 15 months.

Yes! Month-to-month leasing is available to current residents who have successfully completed their initial full lease term with us.

Our renewal process is simple! You’ll receive your renewal offer approximately 90 days before your current lease expires. From there, just select the lease term that works best for you, sign your new lease agreement, and you’re all set!

Utilities are not included in the monthly rent. In addition to rent, residents should expect the following monthly charges: 

Utility Service Fee: $7 
Trash Removal: $30 
Internet: $65 
Water & Sewer: Varies based on occupancy and apartment square footage 
Pet Rent: If applicable 
Damage Waiver Program: $15 

Residents are automatically enrolled in the $15 Damage Waiver Program but may opt out at any time by providing qualifying renters insurance that meets the community’s requirements. 

Internet is not included in base rent. Our community charges internet for $65 per month.

Packages from carriers such as Amazon and FedEx are delivered directly to your apartment door for added convenience! Mail and deliveries handled by USPS will be delivered to your designated community mailbox. 

Maintenance requests can be submitted online through the resident portal (bayoupoint.activebuilding.com). 24-hour emergency maintenance is available for emergency workorders.

Our apartment homes are designed with comfort and convenience in mind! Each home includes a full-size washer and dryer, stainless steel or black appliances, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, garbage disposal, and range. 

Additional features include wood-style flooring, private patios or balconies, spacious walk-in closets, and ceiling fans.

Our community offers a variety of amenities for you to enjoy, including 2 pools, beautiful lake views, resident lounge, fitness studio, bark park, tot lot/playground, outdoor grills, and picnic areas. Whether you’re looking to relax, stay active, or enjoy some time outdoors, there’s something for everyone!

Nearby schools include Bardmoor Elementary School, Pinellas Park Middle School, and Dixie M. Hollins High School. School assignments and attendance zones may change, so we recommend confirming current zoning directly with Pinellas County Schools.

Bayou Point offers a convenient Pinellas Park location close to shopping, dining, and major roadways. St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport is approximately 9 miles away, while Tampa International Airport is approximately 20 miles away. The Shoppes at Park Place and other shopping and dining options are also just a short drive from the community. 

Public transportation is available in the surrounding area through PSTA, with several routes serving Pinellas Park and nearby communities.
